To Be Faithful
*AS WE TRAIN OURSELVES TO BECOME FAITHFUL IN THE NATURAL, WE OPEN THE DOOR TO THE SUPERNATURAL. Matthew 25:21 (KJV) His lord said unto him, Well done, thou
good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee
ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord. *How can you ever hope to have spiritual authority if you can't master natural discipline? *Even if you attain spiritual authority, it does not mean that you have lived a superior holy life. *Many people never want to go through the process to receive the authority. Romans 12:2 (KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God. *This doesn't happen if you hide in a cave. Many people lose sight of natural faithfulness.Luke 3:21-22 (KJV) Now when all the people were baptized,
it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And
the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from
heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. - Before he ever healed the sick. - Before he raised the dead. - Before he fed the hungry. - Before he hung on the cross. *DAVID WAS ANOINTED KING IN BETHLEHEM, BUT IT WAS A LONG TRIP TO THE THRONE IN JERUSALEM. 1Samuel 16:1 - 2 (KJV) And the Lord said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Beth-lehem: for I have provided me a king among his sons. And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the Lord said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the Lord. *David was Saul's servant for many years during his youth (it is during this time that he killed Goliath, giant of the Phillistines). *MANY TIMES GOD HAS A DIVINE MISSION FOR US, BUT IT IS CAMOUFLAGED BY THE NATURAL JOB HE'S TOLD US TO DO. 1Samuel 16:6 -13 (KJV) And it came to pass, when they were
come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the Lords anointed is before him. But the
Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature;
because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the
outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. Then Jesse called
Abinadab, and
made him pass before Samuel. And he said, Neither hath the Lord chosen this. Then Jesse
made Shammah to pass by. And he said, Neither hath the Lord chosen this. Again, Jesse made
seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse, The Lord hath not
chosen these. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There
remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse,
Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither. (God Will Find You) And
he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and
goodly to look to. And the Lord said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. Then Samuel took
the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord
came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.
